We are Nunzia Giunta and Mario Burrascano (and Artù our cuddle manager), co-founders of UOMOeAMBIENTE. We founded our company in 2004 and today, with the expertise of a team of over 50 internal and external collaborators, we can help you make your business more sustainable.
It has always been our idea to make UOMOeAMBIENTE an integrated and multidisciplinary system of selected competences to guide our clients on the journey towards sustainability. Moreover, we do this in a holistic manner by offering specialised and integrated consulting and training services in various areas.
As a Benefit Corporation and B Corp, we pursue purposes of common benefit by operating responsibly, sustainably and transparently towards people, communities, territories and the environment, cultural and social goods and activities, organisations and associations and other stakeholders.

Impact Report

On 30 December 2020 UOMOeAMBIENTE chose to become a Benefit Corporation and to pursue an evolved paradigm in the way of doing business, in which the generation of profit is combined with the creation of value in the form of a positive impact on society and the environment.

Being a Benefit Corporation implies having the duty to periodically draw up an Impact Report, testifying to the commitment and coherence focused on the pursuit of objectives of common benefit.

For us in UOMOeAMBIENTE, this is the best way to communicate in a transparent form what we have achieved and what we need to work on in order to improve our performance.

A commitment that we live with the awareness that only by showing ourselves clearly in the eyes of our stakeholders, we can continue to build a better future in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Thanks to the Biblioteca Diffusa project, UOMOeAMBIENTE wants to actively contribute to the dissemination of sustainable progress issues by making the company’s library of over 3,500 publications available to everyone.

Each of these texts can be consulted free of charge at our office in Torino: come and visit us for a coffee and to grow your skills.

Environmental Sustainability

Environmental sustainability aims at the long-term preservation of its components: air, land, water, fauna, flora. Companies are under increasing pressure to take appropriate measures to reduce their impacts on the ecosystem as much as possible. Pollution and waste production must be drastically reduced as far as the natural system is able to rebuild its balance. Only in this way can humans truly think of having a future on this planet.
